Hello world!

Hello and welcome to my new blog!  I’m just figuring out this whole blogging and WordPress thing, so bear with me.

This is going to be a project blog to keep track of the different things I’m working on as time goes by – garb construction, embroidery, cooking and scribal arts, books I’m reading and general stuff I’m doing.

I may also from time to time include comments on the activities of my family – me, husband, cats and fish.  This may not be as thrilling as some other blogs, but I’m not getting into politics, religion, race relations or any other rabble-rousing topics – deal with it!
